The Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenured position to begin in Fall 2026. All areas of mathematics will be considered, and the rank will be at the Associate Professor or Professor level. Applicants should be internationally prominent researchers with strong qualifications as an instructor. Exceptional candidates may be considered for an appointment to an endowed chair position.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, and must have a distinguished record of research, excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and demonstrated leadership within their discipline.
