The basic application conditions and requirements are hereby notified as follows. 

 1、 The selection criteria for the "Young Discipline Leaders Training Program" at Nankai University adhere to the principle of both morality and ability. Applicants should comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the professional ethics of teachers, abide by academic norms, have good conduct, and meet the following conditions: 

 (1)Applicants should have obtained a doctoral degree and meet the academic level and performance requirements of associate professor/associate researcher or above at our university. 

 (2)The applicant should meet the age requirements for the position of young discipline leader and talent introduction in our school. As of January 1, 2025, applicants for associate senior positions in science, engineering, and medicine are under the age of 35 (born on or after January 1, 1990), and applicants for senior positions are under the age of 40 (born on or after January 1, 1985). (Note: The age calculation method for application should refer to the "2025 National Natural Science Foundation Project Guidelines"; foreign applicants and talents urgently needed by schools can relax the age limit appropriately.) 

 (3)Applicants should have the academic development potential and independent innovation ability of young subject leaders, have a good research foundation and research direction and planning based on academic frontiers, have the ability to form a competitive academic team, and establish and implement forward-looking, innovative, and feasible research projects according to national development needs and international academic frontiers. 

 (4)The "Young Discipline Leaders Training Program" of Nankai University organizes two applications per year. The first batch of applications (conducted in the first half of the year) is open to applicants from both inside and outside the university, while the second batch of applications (conducted in the second half of the year) is only open to applicants from outside the university. (5)According to the unified regulations of "Nankai University 2025 Talent Introduction, Public Recruitment of Faculty and Staff, and Postdoctoral Recruitment Announcement", each person is limited to applying for one position among all positions. It is not allowed to apply for multiple positions at the same time or apply for other positions in the second half of the year after obtaining approval for the first half of the year. Nankai University implements a limited number of applications for "Young Discipline Leaders", and applicants cannot apply continuously (counted as entering the school's external review process). The position of Young Discipline Leader at Nankai University aims to cultivate high-level leading talents and is an important reserve force for the school's high-end talent team.  2、 Relevant requirements: 

 (1)The applicant shall fill in the "Application Resume for Young Discipline Leaders at Nankai University" (Attachment 1) as required and provide relevant supporting materials. (including but not limited to all undergraduate degree certificates obtained so far, transcripts of the highest academic level, foreign language proficiency certificates, computer proficiency certificates, award certificates, professional title certificates, full texts of representative works, doctoral dissertations, etc.)
