Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma is experiencing an exciting multi-year period of growth and development. We encourage well-qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in mathematics beginning Fall 2026
The University of Oklahoma (OU) is a Carnegie-RU/VH public

and healthcare needs of the state, region, and nation from three campuses: the

Qualifications
Required: Applicants should have
an earned doctorate in Mathematics or related field, postdoctoral experience
and should have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and
teaching. Strong preference will be given to candidates whose research
interests are in Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, or Topological Data
Analysis.

addressing the candidate’s research, and at least one letter addressing the
