Position Description

The Department of Scientific Computing at Florida State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2026. Visit https://sc.fsu.edu, for more information.

The successful candidate is expected to develop an interdisciplinary research group with a focus on Bayesian inference or inverse problems with potential applications in natural sciences and/or engineering, secure external funding, participate and organize scientific initiatives and consortiums, and develop and teach new courses in scientific computing and relevant application areas.
