Position Description

The Department of Mathematics at Florida State University invites applications for three Dean’s Postdoctoral Scholar positions in Mathematics beginning in August 2026. Each appointment is for a period of two years. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline, possess a strong research record, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests closely align with those of current faculty members. Applicants are encouraged to mention in their cover letter the name(s) of FSU faculty whose research aligns with their own. Further information about the department can be found at www.math.fsu.edu. Each applicant should submit a cover letter, standard AMS cover sheet, current curriculum vitae, research statement, and teaching statement.
