Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at
Austin invites applications for a Simon’s Postdoctoral Fellowship
supervised by Professor Lisa Piccirillo in the research area of 3-and
4-dimensional topology. The opening is for academic year 2026-2027. We are
interested in candidates who will contribute to mentoring through teaching,
research, and service. The initial appointment will be for one year. The
appointment will consist of a 1/1 teaching load per long semester. The annual salary is $70,000 annually with
health and retirement benefits. Additionally, the sponsor will provide $7,000
annually for research travel.

filled.
Qualifications: Ph.D. by July 1, 2026.
