The Mathematics & Mathematics Education Department (MME) invites applicants with an earned doctorate and research portfolio in Mathematics Education for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor position. This is an excellent opportunity for outstanding scholars to engage in a dynamic department to advance our education and research goals.

Requirements
  • Doctorate in Mathematics (preferably Discrete Mathematics)
  • Strong record of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals
  • Demonstrated excellence in grant leadership as a Principal Investigator (PI)
  • Proven excellence in teaching at the university level
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven leadership of diverse, multicultural teams
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for working in Singapore and Asia, with a cultural appreciation for the region

 Additional Requirements for Associate Professor: 
  •  High research impact in a particular field of Mathematics, preferably Discrete Mathematics 
  •  Proven track record of grant awards, including being the PI of large-scale research projects 

Responsibilities: 
This position involves the development and teaching of curriculum and courses, and the development and conduct of research in Mathematics Education. A successful candidate will be involved in: 
  • Curriculum development and teaching 
  • Supervision and mentorship 
  • Research and development 
  • Knowledge transfer and collaboration 
  • For Associate Professor: community and professional development, international engagement, strategic leadership, and communication
