Position Description

The Department of Mathematics at National Cheng Kung University invites applications for several tenure-track positions, starting on August 1, 2026, as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Candidates specializing in pure and applied mathematics and related fields such as probability and statistics, operations research, image processing, data science, or financial mathematics will be considered. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and a commitment to research and teaching. Applicants must also be fluent in Mandarin Chinese, as lectures are usually conducted in this language. A normal teaching load consists of teaching one or two 3-hour classes each semester, depending on class sizes.
