The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia invites applications for three Lecturer positions beginning in August 2026. Duties will consist of teaching 12 contact hours per semester, as well as departmental service. A terminal degree (such as a Ph.D.) in Mathematics or a related field is ordinarily required. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Mathematics can be considered if they document exceptional accomplishments in University mathematics instruction. Candidates without a doctoral degree must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire. Successful applicants should exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching and to the success of our undergraduate courses.
