Position Description

The School of Mathematical Sciences of Fudan University invites applications for Chair Professor positions especially in Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Control Theory, Numerical Solutions of Partial Differential Equations and Artificial Intelligence. Applications will receive full consideration until the positions are filled. 

Qualifications 
Candidates for Chair Professor should possess strong academic qualifications, substantial relevant experience in tertiary education, and an internationally recognized record of research and scholarship.They are expected to provide strong academic leadership in the development of research and teaching within the School, as well as providing effective managerial leadership. 

Salary and Conditions of Service 
We offer a remuneration package that is internationally competitive. It includes gratuity, leave, housing allowance or accommodation, medical benefits, children's education (affiliated schools are among the best in Shanghai) , a generous start-up fund and a relocation allowance. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
