Position Description:

Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics [Ref. T/188/25]

Duties
The appointee shall fully engage in research that leads to high-quality research output and acquisition of research grants, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements
1. A PhD degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with at least 2 years of relevant postdoctoral research experience;
2. A strong background in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, particularly in research areas such as Applied Analysis/Computational Mathematics/Mathematical Modeling/Probability and Statistics, along with excellent professional and research experience; and
3. A good record of high-quality research and publications are required.
4. A successful record of research grant acquisition would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical, and dental schemes. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
