Position summary: Postdoctoral
Researcher in Dr. Xiaodan Zhou’s Analysis on Metric Spaces Unit.
Working Location:
1919-1 Tancha, Onna-son, Okinawa, Japan 904-0495
Responsibilities:
1. Engage in active research in the area of Analysis on metric spaces.
2. Participate in the activities of the Analysis on Metric Spaces Unit.
3. Assist tutoring and mentoring students.
Qualifications:
(Required)
1. PhD in Mathematics.
2. Speaking/Listening Proficiency in English.
Report to: Dr Xiaodan Zhou/Analysis on Metric Spaces Unit.
Starting Date: Flexible
start date from August 2026 onwards.
Term & Working hours: Term: Full-time, 2 years fixed term appointment in the first instance. This contract may be renewed up to a total of 3 years.
Working hours: 9:00-17:30 (Discretionary)

Compensation commensurate with experience, in accordance with the OIST Employee Compensation Regulations.Benefits:
