Position Description

Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a visiting position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics beginning August 2026. The teaching specialty is open, but preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching calculus and the potential to teach intermediate-level mathematics courses in our curriculum. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor, depending on qualifications. Appointment is for nine months (mid-August through mid-May). This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics. Teaching experience is required. Teaching load is 3/3.
