Position Description

The Mathematics Department of Cornell University invites applications for Visiting Lecturer for one or two semesters during the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning July 1, 2027. Responsibilities include teaching up to four courses per year. Experience teaching large lectures is desirable. At least one reference should address teaching. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. The department anticipates making offers as early as February 25, 2026. Review of applications will begin in mid-February.

Pay Range: $16,560-$18,195 per course Actual salary offers in the College of Arts and Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
