The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program, publish in strong journals, supervise graduate students, and contribute to the research culture of the department. 

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses delivered in English, as well as participation in curriculum development and departmental academic activities.

The salary is highly competitive by regional standards, offered in the range of $40,000–80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Faculty members have received academic training or held positions at internationally recognized institutions including SUNY Stony Brook, Cornell University, the University of Michigan, the Max Planck Institute, Brown University, Stanford University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Waterloo, and UC Irvine.
