The IBS Center for Complex Geometry in Daejeon, Korea invites applications for research fellowship positions.

The Center for Complex Geometry is located at the IBS headquarters in Daejeon, South Korea, a city of 1.5 million people. Its main research areas include complex algebraic geometry, complex differential geometry, analysis of several complex variables, and their interactions with other areas of mathematical sciences. 

Successful candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. by December 1, 2026. The appointment is initially for two years and may be extended up to three more years, subject to a review of research performance. The starting salary is no less than KRW 55,000,000. 

The expected appointment date is December 1, 2026, but the start date is negotiable, and earlier appointments may be considered. However, the offer may be withdrawn if the candidate is unable to begin the appointment by March 1, 2027.
