Position Description
The Center for Research in Mathematics (CIMAT, https://www.cimat.mx/) is seeking talented individuals with a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related discipline, who have consistently conducted recognized original research and made contributions demonstrating independence, diversification in research lines; as well as having consistently contributed to the training of undergraduate and graduate students, to fill a position of Senior Research B, with the possibility of obtaining tenure, in the Basic Mathematics Department, starting on June 15, 2026. We are seeking candidates willing to play an active role in strengthening or expanding our research areas, as well to maintain the international reputation of our graduate programs. The call is open to all areas of basic mathematics, but priority will be given to those working in Dynamical Systems, Functional Analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Algebra, or Topology. Selected candidates must have a strong commitment to research, teaching and involvement in the academic and administrative activities of the center. The typical teaching load is one course per semester.Application Materials Required:
