Position Description

The Department of Mathematics offers undergraduate, Master’s and Ph.D. programs in Mathematics, and provides the opportunity to work in a collegial and active research environment.

General duties

The successful candidate will be expected to:

* Conduct research in Mathematics.
* Teach undergraduate courses in Spanish.
* Teach graduate courses.
* Assume academic administrative duties when required.

1. Curriculum Vitae, including two referee email addresses. Applicants are encouraged to use the CV template available on the Department of Mathematics website.
2. Cover letter.
3. Research statement.
4. Copy of the Ph.D. degree certificate.
5. Copy of the professional title certificate, when applicable.

In addition, the application must include two recommendation letters, which must be sent directly by the referees to the email address indicated in the official posting.

The position will be based in Concepción, Chile.
