Program Description
The China–Central Asia Mathematics Center Visiting Scholars Program supports research visits and scientific collaboration between researchers in China and Central Asia, including Iran. The program provides financial support for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members in mathematics and related fields to visit one of the following institutions in Greater China: Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA), Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (SIMIS), Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (HIMIS), or the Institute of Mathematical Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (IMS at CUHK). The program is open to applicants currently residing or working in Central Asia or Iran who are actively engaged in research in mathematics or related disciplines. Supported visits may last for up to two weeks. Applicants should specify in their cover letter the institution they wish to visit and the faculty member they would like to visit at the selected institution. The program aims to promote collaborative research, academic exchange, and long-term scientific cooperation across the region.Application Materials Required:
