Your new team – “Lê Cao Lab, Melbourne Integrative Genomics (MIG)”
You will join the Lê Cao Lab within Melbourne Integrative Genomics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. This interdisciplinary centre applies advanced maths, statistics and computing to omics data, tackling frontier biological questions. You will work alongside 50+ researchers and QUBIC partners, benefiting from strong collaborations and world-class infrastructure.

o   PhD (or equivalent) in statistics, computational biology, quantum computing, or a closely related discipline.

o   Demonstrated research capability in statistical methods development for high-dimensional omics data (ideally including cell analysis), evidenced through PhD work and associated outputs (for example publications, preprints, software, or technical reports), relative to opportunity.

o   Demonstrated experience in analysing high-dimensional biological data, including appropriate preprocessing, quality control, and interpretation of results.

o   Demonstrated experience in version control on Github and an active GitHub profile evidencing ongoing code development and/or contributions.
