The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in August 2027. We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in combinatorics, broadly construed, who will contribute positively to the department’s culture of outstanding research, innovative teaching, and dedicated service to undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates should demonstrate a strong research record, clear plans for developing an active research program, and the potential to secure external funding. The successful candidate will also demonstrate promise as an effective teacher and research mentor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates who are outside of the United States and do not have other nonimmigrant visa status will not be sponsored for an H-1B petition.
