The successful applicant will teach approximately 24 credit hours of undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses during the 2026-2027 academic year and actively contribute to departmental activities. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and advising undergraduates. 

Candidates must hold, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. (or ABD status) in statistics, data science, or a closely related field OR a Ph.D. (or ABD status) in mathematics plus significant experience in statistics or a related field is required. Documented excellence in teaching undergraduate math or statistics courses is expected. Additional desirable qualifications include experience with computer programming, proficiency in or familiarity with R and/or Python, knowledge of big data methodologies and machine learning techniques.

The University of Evansville is an independent, comprehensive, selective admissions university recognized for excellence in its core liberal arts and sciences curriculum and professional programs. Enrollment is approximately 2,400. The University owns and operates Harlaxton College, located in a magnificent manor in Lincolnshire, England.
