Department of Mathematical Sciences

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applicants for a two-year postdoctoral appointment beginning August, 2027. The position will support the research and teaching needs of the department. Individuals interested in contributing to a diverse academic community are particularly encouraged.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics prior to August 15, 2027 and are expected to demonstrate strong research potential and a commitment to excellence in teaching. The area is open, but should support research interests in the department. Expected duties include teaching 3 courses per academic year (2-1 or 1-2), research and mentoring.
