Junior Professor Chair in Probability – CY Cergy Paris Université

 The AGM Laboratory invites applications for a Junior Professor position in Probability at CY Cergy Paris Université (Cergy-Pontoise, France). 

The details are as follows: 

The successful candidate will join the AGM Laboratory at CY Cergy Paris Université and will be able to demonstrate:

• A PhD in probability or in a closely related fields, or equivalent.
• A strong research record in the field of probability. 
• Several years of research experience following the completion of the PhD, whether in a permanent position or a postdoctoral appointment.
• The ability to open new fields of knowledge and unite teams around their research.

The successful candidate will be required to: 

CY Tech is a Graduate School that combines an Engineering School with a traditional university programme. The selected candidate will teach at all levels within the bachelor’s, master’s, and engineering programmes at CY Tech. The Master in Mathematics includes three tracks: Pure and Applied Mathematics, MAIF (Applied Mathematics for Financial Engineering), and MACIA (Mathematics for Learning, Computing, and Artificial Intelligence). It will provide an ideal framework for developing supervision at master’s and doctoral levels. The successful candidate will also support the teaching teams at CY Tech’s Engineering School, particularly in the MMFA (Mathematical Modelling for Finance and Insurance) option and the MMSD (Mathematical Modelling for Data Science) option.
