Position Description

One postdoc position is available at ISTA in the research group of Vivian Kuperberg, in the subject of analytic number theory, starting in 2027. The exact starting date is flexible, and the expected duration is two years, though there is the possibility of extension.

ISTA is a young English-speaking research institute on the outskirts of Vienna, providing a vibrant and collaborative research environment in many areas of mathematics. This position comes with no teaching obligations, but postdocs at ISTA have the possibility to teach a topics course on any subject of their choosing. 

Evaluation of candidates will begin on October 16 2026, but this is not a hard deadline; this advertisement will remain online until the position is filled.
