Full-Time Faculty Position in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics Tecnológico de Monterrey, School of Engineering and Sciences Mexico - Multiple Campuses Position Description Tecnológico de Monterrey, consistently ranked among the leading universities in Latin America and recognized internationally for academic excellence and innovation, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics. This position responds to the need to strengthen the academic and disciplinary training of students in the Data Science and Mathematics Engineering program, contributing to the consolidation of the Sciences area within the School of Engineering and Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to the formation of highly competitive students, strengthen the academic body, and support the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey both nationally and internationally, through academic practice aligned with global standards of quality and impact. Responsibilities Teach the equivalent of 4 courses per semester in the Data Science and Mathematics Engineering program, under the Tec21 Educational Model, delivering rigorous and challenging learning experiences. Lead and drive research projects with undergraduate and graduate students; publish in high-impact international scientific journals. Secure external funding through consulting projects with the private and public sectors; advise graduate students in their research processes. Participate in accreditation activities and collaborate strategically with the academic body to strengthen the School's institutional positioning. Qualifications Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field (background in Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering). At least 5 years of teaching experience, or postdoctoral experience (preferred). Strong command of English (TOEFL 600+ or equivalent) and demonstrated international experience. Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Data Science tools. Experience in collaboration with industry is considered a key differentiator.
