The Cluster of Excellence Hausdorff Center for Mathematics at the University of Bonn combines research in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics, and Mathematical Economics. We look forward to filling

Postdoctoral Positions

The appointment will be for two (2) years with a possible one (1) year reappointment. The starting date should be no later than October 2027. Generally there are no teaching obligations, but such opportunities are provided, if desired by the candidates.

Your application should contain a CV, a publication list and a research plan that fits the research profile of the HCM. Moreover, you have to choose one of the Bonn based faculty member of HCM as a mentor as well as a Research Area associated with that mentor.

November 1st, 2026.

In addition, we need at least two letters of recommendation from scientists not associated with Bonn University to be submitted by the deadline. 

Applicants who have not yet completed their PhD are requested to include a two page summary of their dissertation project.
