Position Description
Kalamazoo College invites applications for one or more two-year full-time non-tenure-track positions in Mathematics beginning in September 2024. Successful applicants will contribute to teaching in our Calculus sequence and, depending on specialty area, introductory statistics and/or an upper level course. A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics is required (or evidence of imminent completion). Candidates are expected to have high aptitude and interest in undergraduate teaching and a commitment to the liberal arts. Kalamazoo College has made a commitment to inclusive excellence. Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment to working with students, faculty and staff from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. The teaching load is six courses per year on a quarter system (2/2/2).
