Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University. Full-time, academic year, one-year nonrenewable contract. Duties include: Teach courses in the Math Emporium, the Quantitative Reasoning (QR) course, or other mathematics and statistics courses, depending on qualifications and department need; provide service to the department, college, and university. Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or in a closely related field (e.g., mathematics education) conferred at the time of application; experience teaching a mathematics or statistics course as the instructor of record; experience teaching a Mathematics Pathway course (viz., basic statistics, college algebra, or quantitative reasoning) as a TA or instructor of record. Preferred qualification: Experience teaching in a Mathematics Emporium; experience teaching a college algebra course as a TA or instructor of record; experience teaching online courses.
