Position Overview: The Department of Mathematics at Merrimack College invites applications for a one-year full-time, non-tenure-track position in mathematics at the rank of Lecturer for the 2019-2020 academic year. A master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level are required. Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester (16 contact hours) at the Precalculus/Basic Statistics/Calculus level and holding four scheduled office hours per week.

Qualifications: Candidates must be committed to outstanding teaching and familiar with using technology in the classroom. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach students from a variety of disciplines, including majors in Mathematics, Engineering, Health Sciences, Education, Business, and the Liberal Arts. Teaching with innovative pedagogies is encouraged.
