Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont Colleges in California, seeks a full time lecturer for a two year position to teach a range of undergraduate Mathematics classes. The Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field, or significant progress toward such a degree, is required. Candidates in History of Mathematics, Philosophy of Mathematics, or Mathematics Education will be given preference. The deadline for applying is February 15th, 2022, or until the position is filled. Applications received before this date will be given preference. Interviews will be conducted over zoom. The Claremont Colleges (Pomona, Harvey Mudd, Scripps, Claremont McKenna, and Pitzer) have a cooperative mathematics program, with more than 50 Ph. D. mathematicians.
