Postdoctoral Program The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Calgary invites applications for Postdoctoral Scholars for the year 2021-2022, with support consisting of both research and teaching stipends. Subject to budgetary restrictions and satisfactory performance, these positions are renewable for a second year. Appointment as a Postdoctoral Fellow typically requires a PhD obtained since 2018, or expected no later than July 31st, 2021. Earlier PhDs will be considered where the research career has been interrupted by circumstances such as parental responsibilities or illness. Positions
are open to individuals of any nationality.
Award decisions will be made by an internal panel based on the excellence of the candidate, the potential for research contribution to the Sponsor and Department in general, and on the candidate's teaching ability and potential. |
