Pending budgetary approval, the Program of Mathematics and Statistics at Louisiana Tech University anticipates filling multiple non-tenure-track instructor positions, commencing September 1, 2018. A successful candidate is expected to teach mathematics courses that serve general education requirements, elementary education majors, and/or first-year engineering and science majors. Candidates must possess excellent teaching credentials as well as a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics and/or statistics by the start date.

The Program of Mathematics and Statistics is housed in the College of Engineering and Science, whose vision is to be a world leader in integrating engineering and science in education and research. The College is experiencing significant growth and is undertaking an aggressive faculty recruiting campaign to attract culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber.
