The Department of Mathematics in Penn State's Eberly College of Science is seeking a postdoctoral scholar funded through an NIH project. The successful candidate will work on data-driven computational modeling in precision medicine and personalized healthcare prediction. The postdoctoral position will work with Dr. Wenrui Hao to develop computational methods and build mathematical models related to various biomedical diseases. This appointment may include the possibility of teaching. 

This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding. 

Education and Experience: The position requires a completed Ph.D. preferred in computational modeling, scientific computing, applied mathematics, or computer science. The position is ideal for someone with training in numerical PDEs with a strong background in mathematical biology and biomedical applications. Programming experience, especially with Python and/or C/C++, is a plus.
