| We invite candidates working in mathematical physics broadly interpreted to apply for a 2-year postdoctoral position in the Mathematics and/or Physics department of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, in the group of Prof. Gaetan Borot. The position comes with a light teaching load (4h/week) and is intended to start in Fall 2021.
Researchers in enumerative geometry, higher algebraic structures, quantum algebra/topology/geometry, mathematical aspects of string and gauge theories, random matrix theory, exactly solvable models in statistical physics are for instance welcome, but this list of topics is not exclusive. Women are especially encouraged to apply.
Aside from its scientific environment, Berlin offers a vibrant cultural life (when the lockdown measures are absent). The maths and physics departments are located in Adlershof and well connected to the center by public transportation.
Requirements: PhD in mathematics or in theoretical physics completed by September 1st, 2021 or shortly after.
