DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS 

STANFORD UNIVERSITY 

Prof. Ciprian Manolescu invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in low- dimensional topology. The position is funded through the Simons Collaboration Grant on New Structures in Low-Dimensional Topology. 

The appointment will be for 3 years, beginning in Fall 2023. This position may include teaching, but the requirement will be no more than one course per year in the Department of Mathematics.

Candidates are expected to show outstanding promise in research. They must have received a PhD prior to the start of the appointment. 

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, list of publications, and a brief statement of research and teaching (no more than 5 pages). Candidates should also provide three letters of recommendation in addition to a teaching letter. Applications and letters should be submitted online only through MathJobs.org.
