The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Elon University seeks applicants for a Tenure Track position in Mathematics/Statistics Education to begin mid-August 2022. The successful candidate should have a PhD in mathematics education or statistics education. Candidates with additional background in data analytics are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should be interested in providing leadership to the mathematics education program as well as teaching classes to support the statistics program (introductory and upper-level courses). Candidates are also sought who will mentor undergraduate research with mathematics education and statistics majors.

Teaching will include mathematics education courses, statistics courses and courses in the Elon Core Curriculum. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of people, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in their cover letter.
