Instructor/Math Learning Center Coordinator


SMSU invites applications for a fulltime, fixed term position of Instructor/Math Learning Center Coordinator to begin August 2019. The faculty member will teach courses in Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra, as scheduled. The Faculty member will also coordinate the Math Learning Center including: hiring and training student mathematics tutors, providing tutoring services on a drop-in or continuing basis, track learning center utilization, work with the Mathematics program to develop a comprehensive plan for assessment and delivery of developmental mathematics, develop internet-available resources for math study, and develop additional services in consultation with the Mathematics program. Faculty members are expected to engage in scholarly and creative activity, continuing preparation and study, contributing to student growth and development, and service to the University and community.
