The Department of Mathematics at Drexel University invites applications for several 9-month, renewable, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor positions, effective September 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year. The main duties will be twelve credit hours of teaching per ten-week term (or equivalent, as assigned by the Department Head), holding regularly scheduled office hours in our tutoring center, and meeting with students outside of class. Other duties include service within the department such as participation in open houses and other events. Applicants are required to hold an MS or PhD in a mathematical science (or equivalent), and to be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching beginning and advanced students. A minimum of three years teaching collegiate level mathematics is expected and expertise in teaching pre-Calculus and Calculus courses is particularly valuable. The Mathematics Department offers undergraduate, master's, and PhD degrees.

Essential Functions:

Required Qualifications: 
-MS or PhD in a mathematical science or equivalent. 
-three years teaching mathematics at the collegiate level. 
-demonstrated excellence in pre-Calculus and Calculus courses.
