The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Susquehanna University seeks to hire a visiting assistant professor for the academic year 2022-2023, beginning in August of 2022. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester, and will include intermediate-level courses aimed at both mathematics and computer science majors. We would particularly welcome candidates with a background in logic, broadly understood. An ability to teach some introductory computer science would be helpful. There is a possibility that we will have two tenure-track openings, one each in mathematics and computer science, for 2023-2024.

The minimum qualification is an MA or MS in mathematics or computer science, but a doctorate is strongly preferred. Applicants should submit a letter of application, a current CV, and three letters of recommendation. Application materials should be submitted online at https://jobs.susqu.edu/. Any inquiries should be sent to the department head, Dr. Alex Wilce, at wilce@susqu.edu.
