The School of Mathematical and Data Sciences includes 25 tenured and tenure-track faculty, several postdoctoral researchers, about 65 graduate students, and offers undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees in Mathematics. The School offers excellent collaboration opportunities in mathematical biology, fluid dynamics, image processing, and within the new Data Science program. Mathematics faculty have also been engaged in strong collaborations with the WVU theoretical physics program and with the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute.
