The Department of Statistics at the University of Missouri invites applications for two tenure track positions, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek creative statisticians with an interest in developing novel methodology that complements our strengths in Bayesian statistics, biostatistics, environmental and ecological statistics, machine learning, official statistics, or spatio-temporal statistics, but applicants from all areas of statistics are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a strong methodological foundation and have a demonstrated commitment to creating innovative approaches, theoretically sound methodology, and computational tools.

A doctorate in statistics or biostatistics or related field by August 15, 2023. Candidates will be evaluated on their teaching experience, their research potential, and communication skills.

The review of applicants will begin on October 15, 2022, and will continue until the position is filled.
