Tenure-Track
Position Mathematics
The College of Charleston Department of
Mathematics invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor
positions beginning August 2022. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics
or related field by the employment start date. Since teaching, research and
service make up the primary responsibilities of the position, a record of and
potential for excellence in these areas, including directing student research
at both the undergraduate and graduate level, make up the basis for ranking
candidates. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in discrete
mathematics, combinatorics, algebra or number theory, however exceptional
candidates in all areas of the mathematical sciences compatible with the
department will be considered.
