Subject to budgetary approval, Rice expects to have Griffith Conrad Evans Instructorship positions beginning in the Fall of 2022. We also expect to have RTG/Lovett Instructorship positions beginning in Fall of 2022. Evans instructorships are open to all qualified candidates; RTG/Lovett instructorships are restricted to US citizens and permanent residents.

These positions are two to three year appointments and are open to promising research mathematicians with research interests in common with the active research areas at Rice; particularly, algebraic geometry and number theory, analysis, differential geometry, geometric analysis, geometric group theory, geometric topology, non-commutative algebra, partial differential equations, mathematical physics and symplectic geometry and topology.

Duties will include research and classroom teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. degree no earlier than December 2020.
