Assistant Professor of Mathematics

The Department of Science, Mathematics, and Technology at Medaille College invites applications for a Tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Mathematics. This position is scheduled to begin in August 2019.To be considered, applicants must hold a doctorate in Mathematics or related field. The position includes teaching mathematics courses from calculus through abstract algebra and data science, statistics and actuary courses to support a growing applied mathematics program. In addition, all full-time faculties are expected to engage in scholarly activities, advise undergraduate students, and participate in College and professional service activities. Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated commitment to excellence in college teaching and with expertise in statistics and/or computer science.
