Baylor seeks to fill the following tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Mathematics, College of Arts & Sciences: 

Assistant to Associate Professor 

starting in August 2020. Excellence in teaching and research is essential. Strong potential for obtaining external funding is expected. Candidates working in all areas of computational mathematics are invited to apply. Of particular interest are candidates who can participate in an automated computation and modeling initiative through expertise in methods and mathematical software for scalable solvers, integral/nonlocal equations, and deterministic and/or stochastic partial differential equations. In addition to developing a leading research program supported by external funding, the successful candidate is expected to pursue excellence in both undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervise student research. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate field of study by August 2020.
