The Department of Mathematics at the University of Luxembourg is hiring a postdoctoral researcher in algebraic geometry / representation theory, to work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pieter Belmans.

Your Role...

The main topics of the project through which the position is funded include:
  • Moduli spaces of quiver representations
  • Moduli spaces of vector bundles on curves
  • Derived categories of smooth projective varieties and semiorthogonal decompositions
  • Algebraic stacks
  • Sheaves of orders
Familiarity with some of these is expected. You can moreover develop your own research programme.
The position includes limited contribution to the teaching missions of the department.
