The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas invites applications to fill two 3-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning in Fall 2022. The teaching commitment is two courses in the first year, and three courses in the second and third year. Successful candidates will be paired with faculty mentors with whom they have compatible research interests. Candidates in all areas of pure and applied mathematics will be considered.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics by Fall 2022, demonstrate potential for excellence in research, and provide evidence of effective teaching. An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding.
