The Department of Operations Research & Financial Engineering (ORFE) invites applications for a postdoctoral or more senior research position in deep learning theory. Princeton is a world leader in the area of deep learning theory, with many excellent faculty in ORFE, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science. This position is supported through an NSF Grant "Collaborative Research: Probabilistic, Geometric, and Topological Analysis of Neural Networks, from Theory to Applications" with principal PI, ORFE Assistant Professor Boris Hanin (https://hanin.princeton.edu). The position is for one year with the possibility of reappointment for up to two years additional years based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
