| The Center of Geophysics and Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Mathematics, Harbin Institute of Technology (China), is hiring an Assistant or Associate Professor. The Center was founded in 2016 and has since then grown into an important research center for mathematical geophysics and artificial intelligence (AI). You will work among a sizeable group of young and motivated researchers. We highly encourage international young researchers to apply. The applicant should bring the following qualifications: * PhD in Mathematics or Geophysics (graduation within the last 3 years for Assist.), * experience in compressive sensing, deep learning, numerical simulation, inverse problems, seismic data processing, or seismic interpolation. * preferable Post-Doc experience (at least 2 years for Assoc.), * no older than 30 years (35 years for Assoc.). * No Chinese language skills required.
